What plans does American Home Shield offer?
American Home Shield has three plans available: ShieldSilver, ShieldGold, or ShieldPlatinum. ShieldSilver covers your heating unit, air conditioner, and plumbing. ShieldGold covers all of the ShieldSilver plans plus appliances such as your washer, dryer, and refrigerator. American Home Shield's most comprehensive plan, the ShieldPlatinum plan covers 23 appliances and provides coverage for roof leak repairs.

All AHS plans include unlimited coverage for major systems. However, there are certain coverage limits for appliances. The coverage limit is the amount your home warranty company will pay for a claim. It is found in your home warranty contract. You will be responsible for any costs beyond the coverage limit.
