The Select customer agreement covers the following components of a plumbing system: leaks in water, drains, waste, vent lines, not caused by damage due to freezing or from roots. Toilet bowls, toilet flushing mechanism, angle stops and risers are excluded. Water softeners, slab leaks and polybutylene pipe are excluded.
Select Home Warranty will cover your primary heating system. Condenser fan motors and compressors, as well as thermostats, pressure switches, transformers, and condenser fan motors will all be covered.
The Select Home Warranty covers the following components of an Electrical System: wiring, service panels and sub-panels, switch, breakers, outlets, junction box, ground fault interrupters and outlets. The agreement doesn't cover Electrical System damage caused by fire, flood, water, or rust. It also does not cover ductwork that has been incorrectly sized, crushed, or improperly installed.
Coverage of top systems and appliances
Select Home Warranty covers you for 30 days from the date of enrollment. It lasts for a normal amount of time 12 Months. You can renew your membership at the end the year. Two additional months are offered by the company on a promotional basis.
Your home warranty plan can be cancelled at any point during your contract. There is an administration fee of $75 that most companies charge, but customers will get the prorated amount they paid at the time they enroll.
Select Home Warranty does not cover:
Customers must perform routine maintenance such as flushing a heater or changing HVAC filters in order to have their appliance or system covered.

Notice: Customers must file a claim within 3 days of discovering malfunctioning appliances or systems.
Select will arrange a meeting with a local contractor once you have submitted a claim. Select will schedule an appointment with a local contractor after you submit a claim. They won't reimburse you for any service performed by unapproved contractors.
Two business days for the contractor to assess the repair or replacement will be allowed, with four days on weekends and holidays.
